An important part of our fundraising efforts are the events that Beck-Fahrner families organize in their local and social networking communities. Whether it is through crowdsourcing, walk-a-thons, bake sales, t-shirt sales, or galas, any type of event can be a great opportunity to raise funds to support Beck-Fahrner syndrome research.

We have made hosting fundraising campaigns easier by partnering with Facebook, GoFundMe, and Paypal Giving Fund. With a few simple clicks you can have your campaign up and running.

Help us fundraise through Facebook

Click the link below to create a Facebook fundraiser for the Beck-Fahrner Syndrome Foundation. There, you can modify the duration of the fundraiser, how much money you want to raise, etc. Once created, Facebook will synchronize the amount of funds you have raised to a thermometer on your personal page. Facebook does not deduct any fees from nonprofit fundraisers held through the platform, so 100% of the will go directly to the Beck-Fahrner Syndrome Foundation. When someone makes a donation through your Facebook Fundraiser, a payment receipt is sent to the primary email listed on the donor’s Facebook account.

Click the link below to create a GoFundMe fundraiser for the Beck-Fahrner Syndrome Foundation. There, you will be able to use the tools to create and customize your own campaign. The GoFundMe organizer does not handle the money; the funds are sent directly to the Beck-Fahrner Syndrome Foundation by the PayPal Giving Fund (a partner of GoFundMe). Donors receive receipts from PayPal Giving Fund, which will allow them to claim tax benefits.
